Abstract: This research examines the effectiveness of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in vocational training in Nigeria, exploring collaborative models, initiatives, and outcomes achieved through partnerships between government agencies, private enterprises, and educational institutions. PPPs are instrumental in enhancing vocational training quality, expanding program access, and addressing workforce development needs through shared resources, expertise, and innovative solutions. The study aims to (1) analyze key characteristics and models of PPPs in vocational training, (2) assess the impact of PPP initiatives on vocational education outcomes, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability, and (3) propose recommendations for optimizing PPP frameworks and fostering effective partnerships to strengthen vocational training systems and support economic growth. A survey research design is justified to gather insights from PPP stakeholders, government officials, and industry representatives. A sample size of 300 participants will be selected through purposive sampling to represent PPP project managers, vocational trainers, and business leaders in Ondo State. Case studies will examine successful PPP collaborations and their contributions to vocational training quality and workforce readiness. Findings indicated positive outcomes such as improved infrastructure, enhanced curriculum relevance, and increased employment opportunities, alongside challenges including governance issues and sustainability concerns. Recommendations include establishing clear partnership frameworks, promoting transparency and accountability, and leveraging digital platforms for collaboration to maximize PPP impact and ensure long-term success in vocational training.
